Can you provide more detail on the problem. Does the time go all the way through the cycle but the machine never stops agitating or what?
Thanks

The timer wouldn't advance the machine to tell it what to do the timer just kept going around but machine just did what it wanted to do.

I am sorry but I really do not understand the problem well enough to offer any suggestions or provide a diagnosis. Hopefully someone else may see this posting and be able to respond to you.
If you purchased the timer from this site and it was not the problem you can return it. See the returns policy for details.
Good luck

yes, that is correct. the timer does nothing to control the cycles it fills then starts to wash and keeps washing it will not spin or rinse

Well this is mystifying, a new timer should have fixed things. I don't mean to be insulting but are you sure you put the new timer in and did not not just take out the old timer and then replace it? Yes, I have done this with parts on numerous occasions, much to my embarrassment.
What happens if you manually move the timer slowly. Will it stop agitating, drain and go into spin?

Since it works if you advance it manually either the replacement timer was bad also, or more likely there is a problem in the wiring or the connections.
