Model Number: se1000 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Hello,washer fills to high on medium setting,also is too cold on warm and too hot on hot setting,squeaks when switching between temperatures during fill,anyone know what might be possible to do for this,thank you,darren

Well it sounds like your water level switch is bad, but check the tube going to it and make sure it is clean.
On the temp side, if your warm is too cold then it sounds like the water temp switch is not working right because it is not opening up the hot water valve to mix with it. As far as the hot water being too hot, this is not an issue with the machine, it is just taking hot water out of the tap as it comes. Turn down the temp on your hot water heater.
