Check for a screw or nail going down thru the bottom of the wash tub, OR clothing stuck between the tubs!!!

Thanks for the reply. Found no hardware or clothing in tubs or between them. I think it may be a motor or clutch if it has one.

You have dragging brake shoes. Go to my article by putting in the search window "replacing direct drive brake shoes". This should be done before the motor burns up. If you have an amp probe a confirmation would be over 10 amps in spin with an empty basket.
