I have a KitchenAid model KSCS25FVMS01, the Icemaker stopped working. I have water in the water dispenser but no water or ice in the icemaker. When I open the freezer door the Led light flashes twice every couple minutes which continues to flash twice when I close the left side flapper. When I turn the freezer light switch off the LED light stop flashing.
Is this an Icemaker problem or Optic board problem or something else?

If the light continues to flash with the flap closed, you will need to replace the emmiter boards on the unit. Part number: AP5956767
