The freezer is not frost free.
I have had it a very long time but had not used it for almost 10 years. It was not new when I got it in 1978. It gets ice almost like snow collecting on all sides of freezer. It has only been in recent opperation for about 2 months. The "snow" falls off and makes a wet mess when touched and ice is building up faster than it seems it should. The door is starting to scrape on the ice. Do you think cleaning the door gasket and mating surface with Goo Gone will solve this? The gasket does not seem to be damaged in any way.
