I found yesterday that there was ice in the mold but it was not being pushed out. The ice looked half melted. I removed all the ice. The next morning (today) the results were the same. I removed it from the freezer, cleaned out the tray then put it back in. Turned the icemaker back on and so far nothing is happening. I removed the icemaker completely now and have it on my counter. I found this on another site "Remove the white square cover on the end of the maker. Inspect the center hub. The two locking tabs in the center are likely broken." When I removed the white square cover there was a broken tab inside. I inspected the center wheel and found that one of the two tabs was missing (the missing one I found in the square cover). So, my question is do I order a new Complete Icemaker Assembly or can I order the Ice Maker Control Module? On a side not, I was unable to disconnect the power cable where it comes together from the freezer to the cable where it is 2 plastic connectors and disconnected it from the Icemaker itself where it goes into the control module. Looking at the Complete Icemaker Assembly, I would need to get these two connections apart and for the life of me I couldn't. Also, the filter on my frig is probably a year old or so. This should have nothing to do with the icemaker should it?
