Was having issues with defrost system so I replaced heater (which was broken) thermostat and timer. Before entire coil unit was frosted over. Now it is just maybe the bottom row (4-5 Coils) and its a solid block of ice? I also replaced the icemaker nipple assembly and saw that it was dripping water. I have completely defrosted again should I just wait and see or would something else be causing this? Also when I look at the manual for this should the heater be on top of both coils or top and bottom of lower one? I currently have it on top of each coming down. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the parts breakdown
Replacement parts for JRSDE227B models | AppliancePartsPros.com

The heater is Item 35 in Section 8.

You should have a heater under each coil section so that the heat can rise and melt the frost/ice from that section.

I think you stated this set up as "top and bottom of lower one?"

That makes sense that is why top coils are staying clear and bottom ones are not. Think I have learned alot on here thanks again for your help.:)
