This is 2nd posting as I didn't get answer on 1st. Refrigerator cools and freezes ok, but the motor intermittently runs & shuts off, runs & shuts off, runs & shuts off, sometimes for mere seconds, sometimes longer. The fan has been replaced with no results except that my wallet is lighter by $180.

Can you advise what the problem is and what part(s) I need to fix it?

Hi Denman:
By Fan, I mean the little motor & Fan in the Freezing compartment. By Motor, I should have said Compressor runs & shuts off.I'm sorry, but I don't understand your reply. What Filter under Ice Maker? (Didn't know there was one). My freezer is cold and so is fresh food side. Please reply. Thank you.

If the compressor works this way, it'll never create and maintain proper temperature in both compartments.

How much longer?

Gene, I'll have to time it. Fridge is located in 2nd home, so it will be some time before we go there. I will time it and also check temperature in both compartments. Thank you

Here is a wiring diagram for a W01.
Could not find a diagram for a W00 but the above should be close to yours.

I did not say anything about a Filter, so you have lost me.
