We have a GE: WLSR2200J3WW model washing machine and initally the control unit behind the face panel broke. The plastic gears inside became stripped so we replaced the part ($120, TIMER WASHER PART No. WH12X10358) and now it runs, but it won't stop filling with water when you set it to small, medium or large (whatever setting, doesn't matter). The water will just keep filling and eventually it runs out the bottom of the washer. Hoping it is something simple. I know nothing about washing machines. It is actually owned by my company. We own and an apartment and the tenants informed us of the issue and we are trying to resolve it for them. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

ok so i ended up doing some more research on this forum and found similar problems. turns out it was just the hose going to the pressure switch that became disconnected when we replaced the timer. so it's good to go now
