I have a Whirlpool Gold RCC3024LT01 cooktop. The burners do not turn off with the dials. It started with just the back 2 burners now all 4 have the same problem. You turn the dial off and THINK it's off but go back 20-30 minutes later and the burner is still red hot. So now if we are going to use it we have to make sure we will be home long enough after using it to make sure it has turned off. Please help me! Also how hard to change out the parts I need. Thank you for any help.

We have the same issue with one of our burners. We have a GE smooth top (model # jbp66w0h2ww)

Any ideas on what to replace to get it working properly?
