Washer was just getting out of balance real easy until laundry is adjusted. Now when it is in the spin cycle the drum turns but the agitator tries to agitate. This must slow the spinning because it is not spinning fast enough to ring out the laundry.

The agitator turning during the spin cycle is an indication that the transmission is defective and will probably need to be replaced.
