I am looking for a service manual to cover Maytag Washer Model KA106 - it is about 40 years old. The transmission is leaking from the bottom - have the new seal and the lubricant - need manual or exploded view of the transmission. This washer has great sentimental value and I want to get it fixed. Any information is appreciated.

I seriously doubt if a manual is available for this model. I cannot find anything on this machine so I can only suggest you plunge into it and see if you can figure it out. If you cannot, you are no worse off than before.

I can sorta understand why you might want to keep using a machine this old, but sometimes the time comes to replace it, and this may be that time for you.
