I have a Maytag MCWB835DW3 model Bravos XL MCT. I have looked on the internet and found multiple parts diagrams on this but still have a question. I changed out the transmission and then seen a diagram with a thrust washer on the transmission shaft under the drum. Well i ordered the thrust washer but it will not slip over the splines on the transmission. The basket has a splined bearing for the tranny shaft to go through the the locking nut on top. My question is, where does the thrust washer go? Any help is really appreciated.
