Model WFW6620HW2 found dead after the city replaced our electric meter. Could it have been a power surge/spike??? We had no surge suppressor on the outlet.
the power button is dead, nothing works . EXCEPT THE PANEL LOCK button! I can lock and unlock the control panel and all buttons responde to touch when locked and "LOC" appears in display. Anything else is completely dark and dead.
Upon removeing the top panel I see a slowly blinkiing light on the main control CCU?? and cannot find any information whether that is normal or not. When first plugged in the light flashes rapidly about 20 times then goes to slow blink.

Do we replace the control panel or the main board? The machine is only 3 years old.

thanks anyone
