I have a 3 year old Gallery refrigerator. Barely two months ago, we had to replace the water inlet valve because it stopped dispensing water and would not make ice.

Fast forward, everything's working until all of a sudden it isn't. Fridge still dispenses ice but when you try to get water, there's this grumbling noise from the back and no water comes out. For a couple days, it still made ice, then, when the ice maker tried to fill up water the same grumbling noise happened and no water would dispense into the ice maker.

We obtained a replacement water valve and put that on. The grumbling noise is now gone, and it has the quiet hum like it should when you go to dispense water, but no water comes out.

At first I thought I might have two of the hoses reversed, the smaller diameter hose is self explanatory and the one closest to the front of the refrigerator is as well. The two larger diameter hoses to the rear, one is clear and one is greenish colored. I found videos online showing that I would have had them reversed, so I swapped them to match the video, no change. I did try running multiple times for several seconds each time to get the air out but nothing else is happening.

I'm about frustrated to no end with this thing. I have bad knees which makes the simple task of working on it much more difficult. Any ideas on what is happening here?

I should note that before I swapped the hoses, there was sort of a whistling sound coming from the rear of the fridge. After swapping the hoses that noise is gone. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.

EDIT, I took the water filter out and put it back in, it is less than 2 months old also. The valve on the filter connection works properly, you can hear it disengage when the filter is removed and engage back when the filter is put back on.
