I know this is an old washer but thought it was worth trying to fix anyway. It starts with any cycle but then after agitating for a few minutes, stops mid-cycle. I noticed some people mentioning that it could be the "lid switch" so I ended up buying one (part #207166) that was supposedly compatible with my model. It wasn't, so now I'm asking where else I might look or check?? I can post pics of the switch it does have but am still not convinced that's the problem!?? But I'm just a normal homeowner and not an appliance repairman!! Thanks guys for any help you can give me.

I should also mention that after moving the dial from one type of cycle (like from Normal to Delicate) we can get it to restart, rinse, spin and finally end the cycle!
