Hello,
I am trying to confirm that both drawers are fully working correctly when draining. Calling DCS (Fisher & Paykel) is ultimately useless, as you can never get to speak to anyone is support. Both lower and upper drawers drain about the same. As you can see in the image with the red arrow, there is water left in this catch basin.

Basically the water is to the top of the stainless round cover. I am trying to just verify this is correct, and the catch basin is not to be fully empty. I checked the cartridge that spins to pull the water, and all the lower blades are fine, and it spins free. I checked the two water ports in the cavity that holds the cartridge and all clear. I removed the drawers to verify no kinked hoses and all look good.

Water Basin Catch

Thank you for any insight,
JR

I'm no repair expert so I'm just going to ask if the dishwasher was self installed or by a contracted installer? I'm not an appliance pro but I install my own and I ask because do you know if the drain hoses were hung up high enough at any point of their length? I have both hoses on mine touching the bottom of under countertop(highest I could have made them go), making them right about above top of machine, hope this made sense. From the highest point of my drain hoses then there is about 3 ft of down sloping hose before entering undersink 7/8" pipe inlet drain, this down sloping kinda creates a siphon effect that may get more water out even after pump stops. This is just a thought but not a guarantee that it is a fix if you are being left with more water than it should be.

There will always be some water left but I've never seen mine up near the stainless cover, just a very small amount inside the filter slump area.
