I just replaced the hinges on a Whirlpool oven door model WFE505W0HB2. Everything looks like it installed fine, the door seals, etc... but my issue is the door won't stay in the open position now. It opens normally with no extra pressure or force than usual but when you place it in the fully down position and let go the door springs back up and closes 3/4 of the way closed. This makes it difficult to use the oven if you are by yourself and needing to use two hands to place or take sonething out of the oven. I have searched and can only find info on if the door won't remain closed. I can't find anything about my issue. Is this how the new hinges are made? Is it an ossue with the hinges? Is it an installation issue? What can I do to fix this? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
