The ice maker in my Maytag MFF2258DEM01 stopped making ice, so I purchased a new icemaker. When I replaced it, I found that the inlet tube was frozen full of ice. I melted the ice in the inlet tube but still no ice in ice maker.

I next replaced the valve and checked for leaks. A few hours later I later discovered a pool of water under the fridge. Upon pulling the fridge out, I observed that whenever the icemaker called for water, water leaked from both ends of the plastic tube running from the valve up to the inlet to the ice maker. Something is blocking the water as it tries to run into the icemaker, and the pressure forces water out of the connections at both ends of the plastic tube.

Assuming that the inlet at the ice maker must be frozen again, I pulled the icemaker out but found nothing blocking the inlet. Something must be blocking the water between the plastic hose and the icemaker but I don't know what it would be. Advice?
