My washer will not agitate right. It spins great and empties, fills everything except has like a catch when it tries to agitate. Will the agitate spool come off and how do you get it off to check to see if there is something caught, etc?

Do you have the model number? Its hard to guess if you don't know which washer it is. Are you in western or eastern Nebraska?
