Kenmore coldspot 106.58943802 water works may better without old/old filter in. Called a local service tech, he said checked the power to the dispenser switch and a couple of other places. He then said the water valve was bad. I bought a new valve and the water started working for 2 seconds, but then went to a trickle (better than nothing from before maybe). I checked the filter housing, it seems fine from what I can tell. I used the old filter, it was slightly slower water dispensing than the brand new one.

Any suggestions on what is issue is?
