So, I had been washing clothes this week, running a few loads through. A few times I would go to the washer to unload and the clothes were soaked still. I'd run the "spin and drain" setting, and they would be fine. One load was of three pairs of pants that were already wet. I started the machine and walked away, not waiting to hear if the machine made any "sensing" noises. The lock did click into place, however. When I came back after some time, the clothes were in 6" of standing water. I ran "spin and drain", but came back to the same 6" of water. The pants also didn't look like they had been cleaned in either the first run or the second.

I can hear that the tub isn't spinning, and obviously the water isn't being drained. I've seen the following problems suggested:
Belt - I tipped the washer forward, took the cover off the belt and it's still on, not broken, seems to be fine.
Lid switch - the lid did lock, and now that the washer is on its side, I'm a bit loathe to upright it again until I know it's not something underneath.
Drain pump - makes sense maybe
Worn motor coupler - also makes sense
Worn clutch & Worn stator or rotor - these last two may or may not apply to my model, I don't know.

Any help will be much appreciated. TIA.

I don't know a lot about this particular washer, but the parts diagram shows the water pump and its electric.

It could be shot or have something stuck in it. Or it could be something else.
