I had addressed a light issue via this fix:

Things have been working fine for a while, until, the light in the freezer fell down, and when someone opened the freezer, it clipped the wires right off.

So now, coming from the freezer there are maybe 1/8 at best length of wire , and I can't snap on the splice connectors.

I probably need to put new wires in, but how do I open the fridge/freezer to access that area ?

With the freezer light out, most of the fridge lights are out too.
