We have a KitchenAid Built-In Electric Double Oven.

After opening the door to insert or stir food, it loses a significant amount of its heat (even if we are fast). For instance, we pre-heat to 375, insert food, oven then goes down to 330 and won't make its way back up to 375. We have been using an internal thermometer to confirm.

The issue seems to be that the heat doesn't kick back in once the temperature drops.

Our current solution is to shut it off and quickly turn it back on to the temp we want and it will re-heat back up to that temp, but that is not a viable long term solution.

We reset the breaker and set the calibration to 0. Not sure what else we can do here.

Any help is appreciated!
