Here's an odd one...or at least I think...

Recently purchased a home with a nice Whirlpool Gold unit. Thought it odd that they didn't replace the interior light on the fridge side, but now I know why. If I install a traditional appliance bulb, as soon as the light begins to hit the contacts the entire fridge shuts down (kinda like a short). For grins and giggles, I've also tried to install a much lower wattage LED bulb to see if it was a draw issue of some sort, but the same shut down occurs.

Any insight would be appreciated!
