First time trying to troubleshoot a washer. The washer of my Frigidaire GLEH1642FS1 unit won't start. It's a front-load unit and stackable, and the dryer works fine. I ran a load of laundry earlier, left for about 45 min, and came back to some partially wet clothes and the timer hadn't moved at all. The door light turns on every time I try to start the washer (whether or not the door is closed or not), but there isn't any indication that the washer is trying to engage or lock the door. There's also water pooled at the bottom of the drum now, but I'm not sure that it's a drainage issue since the washer won't even run.

From what I'm reading online, it seems like it may be bad washer timer since the unit won't engage and the timer doesn't seem to progress at all. I also thought it could be a defective door lock but I'm not sure.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
