I’m new to this group and I’m certainly not Mr fix it, but I thought I’d give this a try so excuse my lack of knowledge or handiness before I begin.

I have the GE spacemaker 2 and it makes a humming noise when I close the door, even if we aren’t trying to heat anything up. Makes no noise if the door is ajar.

From my research it seems like there is something going on with the door hinge sensor (or whatever it’s called). Please let me know your thoughts.

I can’t even get the panel off. There is one screw at the bottom and I tried sliding it up, but I don’t want to break it.
