Hi folks! This is my first post. I did plenty of searching before posting.

My dryer stopped drying in Timed Dry mode. My family always used this mode, almost 100% of the time. For giggles, i switched to Sensor Dry mode and I was able to feel that it was heating quite well. So the element appears to be good. But when I set back to Timed Dry it doesn't generate heat. Weird, huh?

Here is another clue: when I set it to Time Dry, say to 40min, it jumps up to 55 minutes or so on its own. Also, when i did my test last night with Sensor Mode and was able to generate heat, it had started out at 55 minutes and when I came back to the room it was at about 72 minutes (the load was small and almost completely dry).

I was reading about timing units controlling the heating cycle, but what I read seemed more directed towards mechanical contacts and a time you'd wind up vs a digital control.

If anyone can help, please let me know your ideas!

Best,
Colin

I uplugged the dryer for a few minutes and plugged it back in. It now displays a TS error, so looks like I will replace the thermistor.
