I am working on a Maytag Refrig, MFI2266AEQ-10, circa 2008. Customer's complaint is ....refrig section too cold.
Looking at the Wiring Diagram, I see three (3) thermisters. All three thermisters wire back to the CPU board on the back of refrig at connector J3. I unplugged this, and I measured for resistance on all 3. I got a reading on all three, but varied with location. I draw the conclusion, that from my findings, that neither of them are open or shorted. I ran the "service test". I looked at test "121" damper motor, and "141-145". According to the 121 test, the damper opened and closed. According to the thermister test, all three dsiplayed a temperature.
I am drawing the conclusion, that since the sensors are OK, the CPU board is defective. Would I be correct, or is there something else..??
