I have a whirlpool side by side and the ice maker has slowed down and barely makes ice. I stuck my fingers in and the water is cold but slushy and there is a lot of perspiration around the opening between the release slot and the door. Also the water dispenser's water is not very cold either.
The freezer is fine and cold and so is the refrigerator...
Any ideas or directions?

In doing research, it may be the temp regulator that is failing, but I don't see any video on how to replace it in this model... It is very different than the ice makers that drop ice into a tray on the side. I can't even see how to get the cover off of this one as it seems to run the entire front of the inside. Anyone have a better video for this type of side by side, freezer on the bottom, ice and water in the door?
