Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/13/2017(UTC) Posts: 1		Hello All- Looking for some major help. My Whirlpool washer model #LSQ8243HQ0 just went dead. It fills with water, spins, and drains properly. However, during the agitation mode, it does not agitate. I hear a clicking sound in the timer when it is supposed to agitate. When the washer went dead, there was a smell of burning rubber. Any thoughts?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/6/2016(UTC) Posts: 18		If the motor runs in wash mode (agitate) it is probably the transmission. If the motor doesn't run it is probably the timer.
