I'm working on replacing the spin bearing (part #3204405) in our washer. Your video has been very helpful. One of the first things I noticed when I removed the inner tub is that there is water (or some type of liquid) inside the upper rim area of the tub. I'm assuming this is not normal. How did this get in there, and how do I get it out? I would think this will throw off the balance of the washer.

Thanks for your time and the great video! Jeff

That fluid is supposed to be there. It helps balance the load.

You're talking about the top of the inner tub right? This part?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I had no idea. It just seemed weird, and no videos that I had watched made any mention of it. Too funny, I figured it would throw the balance off, but it's there to help balance it. Thanks for the fast response. Now, I can start putting it back together.
