Our GE Built-In Oven has developed a problem where the top broiler element will not shut off when the front control panel is set to off. I've shut off the circuit breaker to the oven for more than an hour, and then when turning the circuit breaker back on, the broiler element automatically goes back on without anything on the front control panel being touched.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I'd say the "broil" relay on you control board has welded its contacts together internally. Repair or replace. Your model number had an extra "0", but I think this might be the right one.

Thanks so much. I've attached photos of the Oven Model / Serial # tag as well as a photo of the control board part #. The Part # of the control board is WB27T10065 which cannot be found anywhere. Would love it if the part # that you replied with would replace it, but can you confirm given the pictures that I've attached?

Thanks again.

Looks like the part is no longer available. Your best best is to find a repair service and have it fixed. I looked it up over at $ears and came up with the same number and unavailable there too.
