I have a Maytag Gemini stove top/dual oven. The left rear burner on the stove top does not shut off all the way when the switch is in the "off" position. The burner is staying on at a very low heat (surface heat sensor light is not on but the "on" light on the control panel is lit. Is this an infinite switch issue or something else?

After reading various articles I decided to take the risk and order a new infinite switch. Very simple to install. Works like a champ. I could have figured it out for my self by swapping the two large burner switches and seeing if the problem moved. That would have told me without taking the risk. Ordered my parts from Appliance Parts. Took 2 days to arrive.
