The things I can think of that could be causing your issue are the sensor/thermostat, the relay, or the relay/daughter board assembly. All of these are actually pretty easy to replace yourself. The sensor/thermostat is probably the most likely, and the least expensive. So I'd suggest starting there and if that doesn't solve the problem, try the relay next.
