My side by side does not seem to be defrosting. I did a thorough check and found no issues with heater continuity , thermistor , or defrost limit switch.

I figured it was the control board and replaced it along with the heater tube since the old tube was well coated with silver film. A few weeks later my system is iced up again. Today I changed both probes. wR55x10025 and WR50x1068 but did not see that the new ones were giving bad resistance.
I am wondering if I got a bad control board? Any way to further test this unit?
Any way to manually trigger defrost from circuit board to verify heater operation??
All replaced parts are genuine GE. Thanks for any advice.
