Two weeks ago, the washer lid switch went bad. Overrode the switch as that safety feature is not a concern. Everything working well.
Now the washer is acting up differently. May not start on any cycle or mode. Unplugging and pluging in after two minutes got the washer to respond, turning on as normal and filling the basin. Washer stops again.
Double checked the lid override which seems perfect.l Lid switch only affected aggregation mode, so think the issue is different here. Starter switch? Seems like the fix would be simple enough, however not correctly identifying the issue.

Check the motor connector looking for corroded or burned terminals at the wiring harness connection. Also check the connections on the motor thermal overload switch. White wire from motor receptacle goes to thermal overload and there's another wire coming off the other side of the overload. If all looks good here, it may be an intermittent timer. BTW, this is a Whirlpool thin twin model made for GE.
