Hello, my old dryer was working fine one day, the next day it will not start.

Verified power 120,240 ok
Door switch ok
Push button start relay seems ok. Has continuity and stays engaged during timer cycle. Disengages when timer reaches off.
Timer makes 'normal' ticking noise when moved to any cycle.
Replaced thermal fuse and cutoff kit.

Just replaced the motor (newer style switch connector) as suggested by a technician and still does not start. Belt, pulley ok..

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ernesto

Check the belt switch. Could also be a faulty timer. Jump timer terminals T to W to see if it will run.

Eric, Junping T-W it starts normally. It must be the timer, correct?
Thank you very much!
