If yes, it's going to need a new water valve (behind fridge). If no, it sounds as if the water line inside the door has a leak. That would be bad news. Let us know.

The water is coming out from behind the bottom of the black panel. It now looks like it's the valve itself, photo attached. The bottom drip pan was full and overflowing. Easy to replace? This isn't for your exact model or even your brand for that matter, but this is the rough idea of what's involved with replacing that line. Waterline replacement on a WP fridge

I think I'll replace this part first: GE WR57X10032 Water Inlet Valve - AppliancePartsPros.com Looks easy! I'll let you know if it stops the leak. Jerry
