Our dryer decided to quit working on me one day while doing laundry. The control panels turns on and runs through the whole cycle but the drum does not turn and the heat does not come on. We checked all fuses and even tested the outlet to make sure we are getting the full 240. After testing everything we figured it was the motor so we replaced the motor and it still does not work. You can spin the drum by hand just fine so the pulley is not broken. We think it may be the motherboard but before we replace that we were wondering if there is a way to test it? Or is there something else we are missing to check.

Here are your parts
Parts for Maytag MED9700SB0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet

How did you check the fuses etc.

Unplug the unit.
Measure from p1-4 to p1-3 with a meter.
Should be 1 to 2 ohms. This is the thermal fuse, the belt switch and the motor windings.

I it is OK then odds are that it is the control board.

To confirm this you could do a live test but it may be dangerous.
If you do not see 120 volts then when it should start then it raises the likelihood of a control board problem.

My husband and neighbor tested the fuses with an ohm meter and they said it was showing what it should. I will check these parts you have given me to see if we can get what you have suggested. Thank.you very much!
