Hope some one out there can give me a suggestion or two. first of all i don't think this model has a interior light ,if it dose it doesn't work. And can't find it. This is what it dose in the different modes:

Auto Sense: turns on only (no heat) if you hold start in and turn the switch thru the range starts at "Less Dry/Cool" for a few moments, after that doesn't run.

Timed Dry Low Heat: Works thru the whole range with out heat , need to hold start button all the time.

Timed Dry High Heat: doesn't work thru whole range with the button held or not.

No Heat Fluff: no operation holding start in or not.

I've checked thermal fuse (12 ohms) and also on the heating elements (12 ohms). That is as far as i have gone.

Sounds like you have a faulty timer and faulty motor. This low end dryer has one of those junk timers that is a high failure item. The fact that you have to hold the start button and have no heat indicates a failed motor switch which requires replacement of the motor.

WoW this look like about 1/2 the cost of a new dryer.

Thanks for your response I'm going to sleep on this and relook it over in the morning.

Thanks for your advice,

Denny
