When you turn the timer it heats up but the drum will not turn. I checked the fuses , cleaned the push on off button of dust. What next ?

Motor doesn't run either? i.e. not a broken belt? If that is the case, unplug dryer, open control panel and check resistance between terminals OR and WB on the timer (timer must be in OFF position). If you read about 10-12 ohms there, then the motor is bad.
