My oven is dead after using self cleaning on bottom oven. The door is locked (I can't get the model number) and saw a posting about replacing a fuse but you need to be able to open the bottom door to replace the fuse. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Thanks for your help!!

I cannot be much help without a model number but perhaps the following will be of use to you.

Use the Advanced Search button in the forum.
Search for "whirlpool door locked"
Be sure to click the Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops) option in the Search in Forum(s) options on the advanced search page.

Below is a link to a site with manuals.
You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download manual.
So do this then go to the Manuals section and then the Range, Oven & Cooktop Service Manuals.
You may be able to find a applicable manual.
http://appliancejunk.com/forums/

Be sure the power is off when working on it.

Also Kitchenaide are made by Whirlpool so you may also want to look at the oven manuals for them if nothing applies when looking for Whirlpool.
