Hi all, I recently replaced the heating element (replacement part was brand new and OEM) on my 80 Series. Old element was confirmed as broken, the coil had broken. That was 2 weeks ago, it has since started tripping the circuit breaker, and the breaker feels warm when it's tripped. It trips at different intervals of operation, sometimes a few minutes in, sometimes 50 minutes in. I confirmed that air-flow in the duct is good, lint filter is clean. I was pretty careful and deliberate when I re-connected the wiring to the element when I installed it.

Wondering what to check next to isolate and fix the problem.

EDIT - Age in post info says less than 1 year, not sure of actual age, can't find date of manufacture.

Unplug the unit and both wares at the heating element.
Check across the element should be around 8 to 12 ohms.
Then check from each side of the element to the case, both sides should be infinite ohms.
If not the element is grounded and pulling too much current.
