Hi guys!

I have a maytag washer MAV7600AWW with the problem issue:

It fill an agitate okay but doesn't go on spin by its self.

To make the machine go on spin I have to open the lid, close it back an then the spin start.

Also, the machine over pass the spin cycle at the timer. It agitating right to the OFF position on timer

Any Ideal what could be the defective part. I order a Timer but not sure at all if it not someting else...

Thank you for your help.

Your symptoms are somewhat of a mystery, but I would go ahead and replace the timer and see if that fixes things.

If you buy from this site and the timer does not fix the problem you can return it.
