I have a whirlpool quiet partner 2, s/n F01228373 mod/n DU1055XTVB1
When I press the start button the start, washing, heated dry, and normal lights come on but nothing happens then I hear a click and the lights go off. Very very rarely it will fill with a little bit of water, about 1.5 inch, and then I hear the click and all lights go out. Now I have water in my washer and if I push the drain/cancel button I hear 3 clicks and nothing happens. It's only about 3 years old but it was here when we bought the house. It worked fine for 6 months or so then started doing this. I've rest my breaker, pressed sani-rinse heated dry to reset the dishwasher but nothing helped.

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool DU1055XTVB1 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Sounds like a control board problem.
I would check the motor windings, fill valve etc. resistances before replacing it just to be sure something is not overloading the circuit.

You could also try the diagnostics.
