maytag dryer wont start

Maytag elect dryer wont start. panel comes on, hit start, hear the click like normal, but no heat or drum turning. nothing happens. any ideas where to start?

Here are your parts
Parts for Maytag MED9600SQ0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

The unit has a belt switch (item 5 in section 02) so it could be a broken belt.

It also has a thermal fuse (item 59 in section 03). Should be 0 ohms at room temperature. the most common cause of this blowing is a dirty vent system.

Both the above kill power to the motor.
