Ordered and received a new lid switch assembly (part # 22001682). The assembly shows it is for a 4 amp fuse, my original is a 1 amp fuse. Is this an upgrade or the wrong part? Thanks

1 amp is the standard size. The label says 4 amp max. The fuse isn't really there to protect any wiring, it's there to blow in the event the lid switch gets stuck closed. With blown fuse, washer will not fill so is basically rendered inoperable til you fix the switch.
