Can't remove cradle assy on ge ice/water dispenser

Having problem with water dispenser freezing. Ge offers heater for dispenser hose. Trying to install. Have control panel off and 4 screws removed from cradle but something on bottom right wont let cradle come out.

Had the same problem. Resulted from following online advice to leave dispenser light on to thaw the water dispenser, but this ended up melting part of the cradle you're trying to pull out and welding it to the door.

I ended up using some heavy duty snips to cut out the cradle and completed installing the heating wire with a new cradle I had to order.
