This oven is part of a triple wall oven unit where the microwave and warming drawer work fine. The oven light turns on fine. When knobs are set to bake, broil or any of the settings and oven is set to a temp. setting, the oven does not turn on. It doesn't heat up. Any suggestions as to what's going on? I baked cookies at 350 degrees before this happened 24 hours later.

I cannot finf any in fo on the given model number.
Please check it.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

I am assuming that it is an electric oven.

First thing to check is the power to the unit.
The microwave, oven control board and oven light all work off of 120 volts but the oven elements require the full 240 volts.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug.
Note that the unit may not use a wall receptacle it may be hard wired in.
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.

Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!

Denman, I flipped the breaker switch a couple times and that did the trick! I didn't realize that the oven was on 2 different electrical paths and was confused because the oven light worked, but the oven heating element did not.

Here's a link to the model POMW301's manual Thermador Built-in Ovens Use and Care Manual | ManualsOnline.com.

Thanks again! Now I can make pizza's for my daughter's birthday party this weekend...:)

You are welcome.

And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause.
